My journey started by having a keen interest in sport and appreciating the stress and effects it has on the body.  This led me to qualify in 2012 as a Sports Massage therapist and I soon found I was treating many other patients for non sport related issues, such as posture, aches, pains, spending too long at a desk and preparing the body forthcoming operations.

I have a passion for learning so in 2015 completed a Reflexology qualification, this allowed me to help clients experiencing eleviate day to day stress and mild mental health problems balancing the body using the reflexes on the sole of the foot, leg, hands and face.

In 2017, I qualified in the top 10% of students as a TCM Acupuncturist completing a 2-year diploma. This has been such an honour to study and I can now help relieve the symptoms from muscular to mind and help balance stress by re-energising the body.

Being able to provide a range of solutions to clients really helps to restore them to their natural balance.

About Me

After University back in 1999 I started working in the Television and Film Visual Effects industry.  It was a fantastic experience where I met many lifelong friends but deep down I knew that it was not where I wanted to be so after 7 years, I put the brakes on and changed career direction.

In 2008, I qualified as a holistic massage therapist and in 2012 I enrolled in a 1 year Sports Massage Course (VTCT Level 4) at Eastleigh College to broaden my knowledge on the human body.   I’ve always had a keen interest in Sport, mainly running, so this new direction in massage opened me up to a whole range of muscular issues that massage could help treat.   I have been to various sporting events including the London Marathon in 2013 where I supported a charity which had in the region of 40 runners competing and Cycletta in the New Forest to name a couple.   However it became very apparent quickly that Sport Massage was not just for people engaging in sport.  I treat many people who suffer with their posture, aches/pains relating to work and sport massage is also used in rehabilitation from certain operations as well as preparing the body for forthcoming operations, hip replacements for example.

I 2015, I added Reflexology to my CV, which I found had a profound effect on clients experiencing mild mental health problems to those just wanting to wind down and de-stress after a busy day, week, month.  It’s an amazing discipline which balances the body using the reflexes on the sole of the foot, leg, hands and face.

Finally in 2017, I qualified as a TCM Acupuncturist completing a 2 year diploma at Body Harmonics, Cheltenham in which I was award a Distinction.  This has been such an honour to study.  It can help relieve the symptoms ranging from muscular aches and pains, frozen shoulders to helping ease anxiety, balance stress and re-energise the body.

In 2020, the need for knowledge has still not stopped and I am undertaking a part time degree studying Mental Health Nursing.  Mental Health is a big passion of mine having seen countless friends, colleagues and clients face varying degrees of their own mental health.

I am registered with The Acupuncture Society and the FHT.  I am also registered with Gosport County Council as an Acupuncturist.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, HIIT workouts, paddle boarding, kayaking and going out for walks.  My day to day life if filled by my family, running around taking them to football matches, rugby training, cubs etc.  Mum&Dad taxis is constantly busy, I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Acupuncture was painless and amazingly cured by 5 year old shoulder niggle.
